The bottom line is that problems will occur. I believe that the true test of professional is HOW they address the sometimes inevitable problems, regardless of the business type. Assisting your customer/client through these heartaches, and taking responsibility for your errors is necessary to maintain long-term business relationships.

Under the Same Roof

In my 12 years as a structural engineer I have worked at four different firms and government organizations, most of which were multi-disciplined as Highland Associates. Throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of knowledge from these different organizations, but one of the most important benefits would have to be the experience of working within a multi-discipline firm. At Highland Associates, we have a team of experienced Architects, Interior Designers, and Engineers who are working together, under the same roof, to complete building projects.
