
The project consists of a new 7-story 172,000 sq. ft. addition and 18,000 sq. ft. of renovations to the existing Atlantic City Medical Center located on Michigan and Pacific Avenues in Atlantic City, New Jersey. A Penthouse will be located on the roof with a Heli-Pad and Trauma Stabilization Rooms on top.
The addition will be fitted out as follows 31,700 sq. ft. of relocated Emergency Department with a Radiology Diagnostic Suite, Behavioral Health, Pediatrics Inpatient Services and a new Lobby on first floor. The second floor consists of 25,600 sq. ft. of Radiology Department. There will be a 21,800 sq. ft. ICU/CCU unit with twenty-six (26) beds on third floor. The fourth and fifth floors consist of 21,800 sq. ft. each Med/Surg. Nursing floors with approximately forty (40) beds per floor. The sixth and seventh floors are 21,800 sq. ft. each shelled for future use. The Roof will have a 12,000 sq. ft. Mechanical Penthouse. On the Penthouse Roof will be a Heli-Pad with Trauma Stabilization Rooms connected directly to the Emergency Department by elevator.
The new addition will also be connected to the new Bally's parking garage by a 190-foot long bridge over Michigan Avenue at the 2nd level. Elevators and Escalators will transport visitors from the bridge to the 1st floor lobby.
