
The work at Evangelical Community Hospital included several projects. Shown in the picture above is the Ambulatory
Care Expansion. Included with this project was the relocation of the campus central utility plant housing steam
boilers, water chiller and emergency power. The services were renovated in a new utility tunnel system. Relocation
of the central mechanical plant and demolition of the existing maintenance facility. The Ambulatory Care
Center/Physicians Office Building includes two endoscopy suites; two operating suites and is set up for two future
operating suites. Construction Cost of $13.5 million dollars.
Additional projects at the campus included the addition/alterations of a new emergency department and Patient Wing
along with an extensive renovation to the Radiology Department. 63,000 s.f. with new 25,000 sf. renovations included:
main hospital entrance, emergency room lobby and waiting area, triage area, treatment rooms, fast track rooms, isolation
rooms including TB isolation, paramedic garage and offices and trauma. Radiology renovations include: fluoroscopy, angio,
ultrasound and PVL and Echo. Construction Budget $16 million dollars. Total construction costs is in the $30 million dollar range.
