Highland Associates designed this new stadium for the State University of New York at Cortland. This two-field,
multi-purpose athletic facility is used for football, soccer and lacrosse. The design was arranged to permit sharing
of core functions including toilets, concessions, press box and field-house facilities. The Main Field has a synthetic
surface, 5000 home seats, 1500 visitor seats. The Auxiliary Field, also with a synthetic surface, has 1500 home seats
and an all weather track. Connecting walkways are provided from the intermediate level of the home field side to the
top aisle of the auxiliary field seating.
The stadium's Field House, administration and Ticket building, concession stands, toilets and Press Box, serve dual
field use. Both the main and auxiliary fields have all-weather soft fiber synthetic turf surfaces. The eight-lane all
weather synthetic track surface is designed to meet NCAA and IAAF standards.
A two-story press box is located between the main and auxiliary fields above the upper level seating. Access to the
press box is gained from an elevator and stair that connects the main concourse. The multi-team Field House is located
adjacent to the main field and contains training rooms, lockers, & showers for two seventy player teams.
The ticket box office, administrative space, first aid, and security are located in a stand-alone building near the
primary entrance.
