Highland Associates has designed the additions and renovations to Centennial Hall on the Bloomsburg Campus. The project
consists of demolition of approximately half of the existing structure to house a new three story addition. The existing
gymnasium and formal entry have been kept in part, preserving the heritage of the University. The addition matches the
existing exterior materials of brick and stone.
The program called for spaces for the Health and Physical Education department including a recreational gym, dance
studio, fitness training area, laboratories, lockers and showers. Also included in the building are laboratories and
offices for Anthropology, a speech and hearing clinic, a wellness center, administrative offices, general classrooms
and a large lecture hall. Total area of the facility is approximately 80,000 square feet.
