NLX Corporation occupies a 100,000 square foot plant built on twelve acres in Broome County, NY. The company leases the
building from the Broome Industrial Development Agency. NLX Office areas, open office cubicles, are located on two
floors and include:
- Main entrance - Vestibule, lobby, waiting area
- Along with required exit stairs there is a monumental stair and elevator
- One of the first original flight simulators developed 1920's will be restored and on display at the landing of the monumental stair
- Support rooms for office areas are toilet rooms, showers, break areas, LAN rooms, conference rooms, lunch room, engineering lab, janitor closets, mechanical room, and storage areas
- Building is totally sprinklered
- Security includes card readers at doors, cameras
- Atrium is open to first floor from second floor
Corporation develops flight simulators, trainers for weapons, and maintenance systems for U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force
and private companies, including Beechcraft, Cessna, and Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier.
Major Defense projects which the company has been involved include the B-1B and B-52 bombers, and the F-16 fighter.
