Highland Associates provided planning, engineering design, construction management services, and manufacturing
equipment relocation co-ordination required for complete relocation of the 230,000 sf. Lockheed Martin Airborne
Radar Programs (ABR) from Utica to Syracuse, NY.
Test areas were upgraded, and new test area rooms were constructed along with the renovation of an Engineering
Laboratory. All work was accomplished with a minimum of production down time.
Highland mobilized teams of Architects and Engineers to review the project scope with Lockheed Martin
representatives & coordinated the placement of the equipment in Syracuse. The scope of work included re-planning
the existing interior space in Syracuse, NY including partitions lighting, power, grounding, hvac, exhaust,
make-up air, and various process utilities. Lockheed Martin's schedule was ambitious, allowing only seven weeks
for design.
The project was completed on time.
