This project entailed the expansion & renovation of Loral Skynet's Earthstation in Hawley, PA. The program for
the new facility consisted of:
- Building C, a two-story 25,000 square foot addition housing ad-ministration, engineering, and support areas.
Building C to serve as the main entrance for visitors and employees, and is connected to the existing facility
(Building A) via connecting corridors.
- Building B, a 7,100 square foot addition housing Equipment and Satellite Access Control functions.
- Renovations to Building A, including Labs and Orbital Analysis functions.
Site work included new roads and parking, as well as a new sanitary sewer system, and a storm water retention pond.
Construction on this $3,100,000 project was completed in July 1998.
