SSIU was designed by Lockheed Martin to automate the induction of parcels and replace manual keying stations on secondary tilt tray sorters at all USPS Bulk Mail Centers in the U.S. Highland Associates has provided full service Architectural and Engineering as well as conveyor layout services for all sites.
Highland Associates has worked with Lockheed Martin on Bulk Mail Centers in Florida, Georgia, Texas, Ohio, Missouri, Massachusetts, California, Washington, Iowa, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Colorado, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C.
