Highland has been hired to convert the existing upper level at the Pier into a white linen restaurant. The tenant to be, Peter Kelly (Xaviars on the Hudson), is a well-respected restaurateur who grew up in Yonkers. The restaurant will provide multiple settings for a unique dining experience. Highland has designed the 14,000 s.f. space to accent the view to the Hudson and Palisades from the main dining hall. As well, we have designed a separate mezzanine dining area, a wine room for dining and display, a drinking bar, food bar and dining lounge which will overlook the newly created Yonkers esplanade, on land side.
Yonkers Pier Construction Cost was $6,000,000.
