MACY'S HERALD SQUARE
Beginning in the spring of 2012, Highland Associates was commissioned for a 4-year, $400 million renovation of Macy's flagship Herald Square store in New York City. Virtually every department and floor, as well as the exterior of the building was improved over the course of the entire project.
OWEGO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
With assistance from FEMA, the new 124,000-square-foot Owego Elementary School was rebuilt on the existing site that was devastated during the 2011-2012 school year by Tropical Storm Lee. Highland's architectural design team drew inspiration from Owego’s story—a community strengthened by hardship through collaboration, persistence and resolve.
AMPHENOL AEROSPACE
After experiencing flooding twice in the last 5 years, Amphenol Aerospace decided to relocate its operations to a new 272,000 SF facility located within close proximity of its previous location outside of the existing flood plain. Highland Associates provided architecture, engineering and interior design services for the new facility that would house manufacturing, storage and administrative office space.
