Located on 33 acres in the heart of Marcellus Shale region, Liberty Power project is a clean natural gas-fueled, 829-megawatt combined-cycle generating station.

The Patriot Natural Gas Power Plant, a clean natural gas-fueled, 829-megawatt combined-cycle generating station, is located on 85 acres in Lycoming County, PA.

Both power plants supply the power needs of up to 1 million homes in Northern PA. Using Siemens H-class gas turbines, each plant can achieve operating efficiencies of 60 percent. The generation process is cooled with air, rather than water, special blade designs and low-output motors.

Highland Associates was commissioned to perform architectural, mechanical, and electrical engineering for Administration/Control/Warehouse Building, Water Treatment, Feed Water Pump, and Turbine Buildings. The Turbine building enclosures were designed to minimize
sound to be more environmentally friendly to the community.
