Highland Associates provided Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical Engineering Services for the renovation of the 1210 Brace Road Cooper University Hospital Facility.

This project was broken down into two (2) phases. The project consisted of a 15,000 sq. ft. renovation adding exam rooms, support space, staff lounge, waiting, touchdown rooms and offices.

The existing HVAC systems were evaluated and modified as required by the renovation. The existing HVAC distribution was modified to coordinate with the new space layouts. The existing re-heat and heating system was also evaluated and modified to provide the space heating. The Plumbing services included were domestic water, sanitary and vent. The Electrical system included normal power, lighting, data/telecommunications, audio/visual and fire. The fire protection was modified for the renovation. The drawings for this project were prepared for local permitting, NJDCA and competitive bidding.
